This weeks lesson we learned about what recreation is and why it is important. I was able to do a mock report to the mayor of an imaginary city to fight for funding for our parks and recreation programs. (Funny enough, I can't say parks and recreation without thinking of the show parks and rec, even though I've never seen it). While searching the web for information I found a few really cool websites! This one is my favorite. Feel free to browse. And remember, RECREATION IS IMPORTANT!!

This is my blog for RM 307! I'm so excited about this class. We spend the semester learning about why recreation is so important, and specifically how we can tailor recreation activities to those with disabilities. I will post information that I find useful about this subject for anyone to see. I will also post the experiences I have while implementing these ideas. Here we go!
